Bed & Breakfast

Bed & Breakfast

The McCreery House, 746 North Washington Avenue, Loveland includes a Bed and Breakfast. We offer three rooms in the main house for overnight accommodations and a fourth room in the adjacent Carriage House. All rooms have an antique furnished decor with a story for each room named after a historic family member. Located near downtown Loveland, it is an easy stroll to restaurants, shopping, a museum and a library.

In addition to the traveler we would like to offer overnight accommodations to our newly wedded couples, their families and guests. All rooms have views of the beautiful gardens.

An attendant from the McCreery House will stay on sight overnight. A homemade breakfast will be included in the price of the room. We would also like to extend the invitation to your family and friends in the area to join you for breakfast when you stay, space permitting. Extra breakfast guest rate is $15 per person and a 24 hour RSVP is required.

Bed & Breakfast reservations include the private and secure use of the room or rooms rented. The public areas of the house, such as the main level, kitchen, and the gardens, may be occupied during the day to conduct other business or host events. If you are interested in private use of the entire house please see our Vacation Rentals (VRBO) page.

Special considerations: The McCreery House is a family-style Bed & Breakfast floor plan, guest rooms share hall baths.  A 48 hour advance reservation required with a 2 night minimum stay.

Rose Haven

Rose Haven at the McCreery HouseThe Rose Haven is our largest and most popular room. This room is named after the family that restored the home back to its former glory. They raised their children here and the family still resides in Loveland and often frequents the house. This beautiful room has a king size bed, (which can be converted into 2 twin size beds), love seat, dresser and fainting couch. There are two large closets and the window overlooks the back garden.

Martha's Room

Martha's Room at the McCreery HouseOur second largest room is Martha’s Room. Martha married William Henry McCreery in 1870. They came to Loveland in 1875 where he organized the United Presbyterian Church and had 3 children, Ida, Mabel and Elbert. This elegant middle room has a queen size bed and dresser. The windows have a view of the yard and large mature trees. The closet is large enough to hold all that you might bring along.

Julia's Room

Julia's Room at the McCreery HouseOur favorite hideaway is Julia’s room. Julia was the second wife of William Henry McCreery. He had made several changes in the decor of the house just before they were married in 1903. The entry and 2 story tower was added at this time. This room has a stairway leading to the tower belfry for a unique sitting room. This smaller room has a trundle bed for one or two guests. Antique woodwork abounds in this lovely well lit room!
